I'm not one to complain, but does anything actually work on Windows Vista?
Test case: My Microsoft branded Laser Mouse refuses to work, although my Microsoft branded keyboard will work occasionally.
My Windows Mobile 2002 device is not supported by the new Mobile Centre, and ActiveSync will not install on Vista.
Visual Studio .net 2003 is not supported on Vista. Microsoft suggest I upgrade to 2005. Good sales ploy, but I'm not falling for it.
Firefox fetches pages slower than a 33k baud modem unless you perform a bit of voodoo: netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=disabled
You could say that these are the pains of an early adopter, but this operating system has been out in the business environment since November, and in beta for Christ knows how long. I just wish Apple would release Mac OS for x86 processors.
An apology:
Rob! Sorry I missed you off the list :(
